Cultural and Social Activities

Community involvement and social inclusion encourages
participation amongst local community groups in activities promoting
cultural exchanges, traditional experiences and festival events. The
organisation provides an annual program of activities and events encouraging
participation and social interaction. These form a significant part
of the organisation activities. The aim is to encourage harmonious community spirit and remove racial barriers. These activities also serve as a source of education for our children. They provide experiences and knowledge of their roots, history and traditional cultural customs. |

In the past we have entertained many guests at
such events as: * Somali Independence Day * Eid Ul Fitr ( after the month of fasting) * Eid Ul Adha ( at the end of the pilgrimage) * Participate in local festivals and community workshops * Children's activities and Summer Playscheme |
